For our September release, we’ve added some exciting new functionality to Cymetryc.  Here’s a few highlights:

• Added support for folders for better organization of your Test Plans
• New test step Skip options – quickly add a note and the option to skip all open steps in a test case with just one click
• Enhanced Testing Summary report now with the option to include test case descriptions
• Added timed delay and copy to clipboard screen capture options in Verify

Added support for folders for better organization of your Test Plans

As you grow your test plan library, it is often helpful to be able to organize your test plans into folder.  Cymetryc now allows you to create folders and store your test plans into convenient folders.  Right-click to create and edit your folders.  Right-click test plans to move them to any folder.

New test step skip options – quickly add a note and the option to skip all open steps in a test case with just one click

New skip options lets you skip all the steps in a test case with a single click – Saving you time and effort.

Now when you click the SKIP option, the note pop-up also includes an option to “skip remainder of open test case steps”.

Enhanced Testing Summary report now with the option to include test case descriptions

You can now include descriptions in your Review Summary report in Cymetryc Proof.  Simply click include instructions on the report generation page.

Added timed delay and copy to clipboard screen capture options in Verify

Ever needed to include a specific sub-menu or right-click menu in your screen shots?  Maybe you just need a little delay between clicking capture and the actual image capture.  Cymetryc now provides a 5 second delay option.  You can also select clipboard so you can paste the image in another application if needed.

Improved ability to edit testing notes to correct typos or add additional information

Sometimes you need to clarify testing notes or simply correct typos.  Now you can easily edit notes made during testing.

Double click Test Case > Step > Edit Step Details.  Right-click the note to open the edit option.
