Responsibilities
- Exceed quarterly and annual booking goals
- Build sales pipeline of hospitals, health systems and clinical labs for Cymetryc offerings
- Maintain sales funnel and track performance against sales targets and related metrics in our CRM
- Strategically and tactically manage the sales processes necessary to achieve assigned metrics
- Become fluent in the functionality, features and value proposition of Cymetryc and how they are used by existing customers
- Deeply understand the market including competitors and partners in the space
- Develop an effective sales strategy and sales pitches to sell Cymetryc to different types of prospects
- Identify prospective customers using your existing hospital, health system and clinical lab contacts and generate new contacts and leads through personal engagement
- Develop opportunities from inbound leads for Cymetryc
- Attend trade exhibitions and industry events to present Cymetryc to attendees, make contacts and follow up
- Coach, collaborate and coordinate with internal resources to further the sales efforts (e.g., sales engineering, product delivery, contracts, etc.)
- Learn and understand prospects’ existing software testing strategies, issues and approaches
- Actively participate in weekly forecast meetings
- Assist in the identification and creation of other collateral needed to support the sales process
- Complete sales-to-implementation turnover to ensure a smooth transition
- Effectively advocate for customers to achieve service and product improvements
Specific Qualifications
- 7+ years proven and consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Experience selling clinically related products or services to hospitals, health systems and clinical labs
- Demonstrated ability to sell to director level and executive leadership
- Approx. 10% travel
- Current knowledge of clinical software testing issues
- Solid understanding of health IT issues for clinicians and IT staff including electronic health records (EHR)
- Experience negotiating health IT sales contracts is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing or other related degree(s) preferred
